Is it weird that i like killing people and infecting everything! Don't worry this isn't in real life. It's addicting flash internet games. I am recently obsessed with Pandemic 2 I've found that the only way to win is if you start in Madagascar and aim to infect everyone before killing them.
Here's a snapshot from my game. You see everyone is infected, but no-one is dead yet. That just leaves me to buy lots of symptoms which will kill people. Is this worse than zombies taking over the world? Or as everyone IS the living dead can they be classed as zombies?
Another one of my favourite games in tentacle wars I don't know if I've told you about this game before so I'll keep it short. You're a virus that has to kill other viruses from taking over a human body. Easy right? Nope.
Now on to a more cheerful subject. Games that aren't about mass infection and death.
I love physics games, I really don't know why. But i just found a new one! It's called Mechanical Puzzles. Yum.
Speaking of more things that are yummy. Here's a selection of the things which have been baked in my house recently. Sadly i didn't get any pictures of the Victoria Sponge cake made from an adapted red velvet recipe so tasted kind of like a welsh cake. I didn't get any of the coconut buns either which my sister stole and took back to Southampton with her. RUDE.
But i did get these beauties.
These are my basic cupcakes with 2 types of frosting. The first is Betty Crocker chocolate fudge. And the second is peppermint Royal icing. I like those ones the best even though everyone else says they taste like toothpaste.
My brother made these chocolate mud cupcakes. They are so moist on the inside and crumbly on the outside. yum yum yum.
Finally these are the plum cakes we made together. Our plum tree is brimming with plums. Too many to eat. Will have to think of a lot more thing to do with them before they go off.
So that's what I've been baking this week. Next week I'll show you what I've been making!
A blog full of ramblings, Things i like and love, and things i have stumbled upon around the interwebs. A blog full of things which have provided me with a ray of sunshine for my day and a cheeky smile. I hope it provides you with the same joy.

Stumblings
Sorry for the long gap between me posting again. I would make up a bunch of excuses but in reality i just forget. How bad is that! I've been in North Wales and have had family friends over for a weekend so i have been "sort of" busy.
Here's just a collection of images that i've found while stumbling around the internet. I hope you enjoy!
This is cleverbot (the one typing in blue) She's pretty fun to talk to. She saves responses from people who have spoken to her and uses these to respond to others so seems pretty intelligent. However i have noticed that she doesn't take the whole conversation into context, just the previous sentence. But still fun non-the-less!
This meme makes me giggle. But it's so true! Some girls will happily prance around in their bikinis and not care who sees but is horrified if anyone catches her in her underwear. What's the big difference really? Apart from maybe a thong!
This image makes me giggle. Especially top left. He just looks so angry in comparison to all the others!
I would be that happy when i got post, apart from the fact that it's normally just bank statements and student finance letters. If anyone sent me a letter i would be over the moon! My dad, knower of all things, says that paper and fountain pen sales have been rising slowly over the past few years as more people love the feeling of sending and receiving hand written mail. Cute.
Continuing with the theme of modern times being LAME! haha. The thing about the present is that because of the internet we can find thousands of useless facts and information that really are pointless and everyone is nostalgic for "simpler times". They want children to play in the streets without worrying about pedophiles or being kid-napped. Apparently those times were safer. I think every generation has this attitude. I bet out great-grandparents were nostalgic for their childhood times. But kidnappings and pedophilia hasn't risen, it's just more widely publicized due to the media accepting that it does occur. And all the technology we now have has led us to create machines which can save lives and cleverbot! We can also travel more! I like the future.
Anyway, moving on. I appologise for that ramble. Hipster glasses! I've mentioned before that hipsters must hate that being hipster is in style right now. But charity shops must be loving it! these glasses are so cute! Those with a nice mustache would look so adorable. Never know she may have one in her etsy shop. She's got an owl!
Speaking of mustaches. you didn't think i was going to have a blog post without cupcakes did you? I love the variety of mustaches on the guys with hats!
Can't have a cucake without a good cup of tea in a super cute mug. I seriously want a kiln now, you have no idea! I love that the squirrels body is indented into the mug while it's tail acts as the handle. It doesn't even need to be colourful because the detail in the design makes it stand out already.
Just like a can't have a post without cupcakes i can't have one without owls. You can now buy this kawaii t-shirt from lolmart. Go on buy one. I know you want to. RLY!
This image concludes my post for today. It's made by Suzy from Folk Art Papercuts. I love how intricate her designs are. If i ever wanted to make one I'd need a sharper scalpel knife because I'm pretty sure mine would just tear through the card. But i may still give it a go.
Hope you're having a lovely week so far!

Grammar and Randomness
I Admit it, I'm a grammar Nazi. If you've never heard that term before I'm not trying to compare myself with a Nazi and i appologise if it offends you. But if you have you'll know what I'm on about. I hate reading things which contain bad grammar. Well not so much grammar, but spelling. Here's a picture demonstrating my main spelling pet peeves.
The one i hate most it they're/their/there. I have a friend who always writes it as they're. Annoys the hell out of me. Ah well.
I do actually use this comma. Since I started reading academic journals at university and they all use the oxford comma. I swear at primary school they tell you not to use it though. If you're using and you don't need a comma. I'm going to be a primary school teacher sometime soon, so I'm sure I'll find out at some point.
Yes, although i call myself a grammar Nazi, I do actually get things wrong sometimes. But my mistakes are never as bad as the above example."Too", "Its", "Dificult". Fail!
Anyway. Moving on to things I think are cool.
This is actually a realistic idea for a kitchen i think. Most of my house ideas normally involve secret rooms and other expensive things. This would make it a lot easier to add extra people around than table just by squashing instead of adding another chair. It's also just like a restaurant. Well some of them anyway. The best ones. Red Robin *cough cough*
So i was playing Sims the other day, the first one. I was extremely bored, don't judge me! And my baby transformed into a child and this creepy lady face appeared as my child's face. My actual child was normal looking though and next time i went on all was normal. The weirdest bit about it is that the one on the congratulations pop up is frowning. And the one next to the family faces is smiling. Odd.
I want to make a couple of these. It's genius! All you have to do is snap a glow stick, tear it open, tip the inside into a jar, and shake. That simple yet so effective.
This is a pine forest in Poland where around 400 trees grow at a 90 degree angle facing north. This is an inexplicable occurrence and a pine tree forest close by is completely normal. It's called the "Crooked Forest" and I really want to go there!
I think this is such a cute idea for a wedding, but it could also be used for other occasions. How about a parent and newborn with their name or the word baby inside? I would try and think of more for you, but I'm lazy. I'm sure you could think of some pretty awesome ones for yourself.
Last but not least i leave you with this beauty. My little brother is convinced that the zombie apocalypse will happen so this would be perfect for him.
I hope you have a good week.

Paper crafts
I am in love with this cute little owl. He is just the most adorable thing ever. And the best thing about it is that a Wallpaper and note-paper with his gorgeous face on them is downloadable for free from here.
Paper and lights i guess don't really mix well. Well people don't tend to think they do. If you're paranoid it may be the intense fear that the paper will catch on fire. But i just adore these.
I'm pretty sure that i found these on My Owl Barn Blog that i've told you about before. But i'm not 100% certain. Anyway, i love the heart shaped doilies in a chain with cute fairy lights wrapped around them. Perfect for Christmas decos, christenings, weddings or just my bedroom!I guess it's a paper theme today then. (I create my blog titles, and half of what's in each entry after the first few pictures. I search for a theme. apparently these two have paper in common. Go me!)
More doilies. Has anyone seen cupcake wrappers before. Or am i just totally cupcake obsessed and thus know about these things? Well you can make them with doilies! I can't believe i've never seen this idea before. It's actually genius.
Here are some real ones.
When i was thinking what else i could possibly add to this blog post one thing instantly came to mind. Origami. I love it. I even have origami crane chains hanging from my window. I love the shadows when the light shines through them. Truly gorgeous.
Anyway check out this origami cupcake!
I love the flower on top. so cute.
And how about these bad boys.
It's owls! I am in love with the bottom left one. Now i found these picture on Google. So don't know where i can find instructions on how to make them. But trust me i will. Fingers crossed my end result looks just as cute!
Now to go completely off topic, i found this amazing game. Well my boyfriend did. And i love him for it. Remember how i said that Nyan Cat and Robot Unicorn Attacks match so well. Because of the mythical creature, rainbows and squeeness. Well now they have merged to become one. Not in a creepy mutant animal way. But Nyan cat now features in a robot unicorn attack-like game. It can be found here nyanicorn. Yes the graphics aren't as good, and rainbows only show up when you dash. But you jump around collecting junk food, and dashing through leeks to destroy them! Yay.
Hope you had a lovely long weekend (in the UK anyway. Monday was a bank holiday!)

uni, it's pretty awesome.
One of the best things i love about university is the pranks. Light hearted humor is amazing. Well, as long as it's not directed at me!
That's why i love the website college humor so much. It's full of things like these.
Yes, that is a room full of cups of, well, whatever you want really. It would take a long time to set this prank up. And unluckily for the recipient, just as long to dismantle. Try walking through a room full of cups of liquid... impossible.
Another i like, that i've semi-tried is this one.
Wrapping someones entire room in whatever you have available really. Me and my housemates used free university newspapers and magazines for our prank. We covered everything. Each pencil, penny and pillows inside the pillow cases. Lets just say getting dressed turned into a chore. Trying to find matching socks must of taken a while.
You get to unwrap all of your stuff. But it's not exciting like Christmas, because well, you already own it.
Another big part of university is the work, and where there's work there is procrastination. I'm pretty sure most of you out there must of played angrybirds at some point in your life on a smart phone. Well it's now available on-line. No word of a lie. Here it is Angry birds online. Go ahead, love me. I know you do.
And here's your dose of funny pictures. Enjoy. I hope you all have amazing weekends.
Got to love Mario paint composer :)
And just because i love owls. Maybe a little too much.

random, ramblings, sporcle
I have a slight obsession with online quizzes. They are the perfect procrastination activity.
sporcle for example is pure genius, I'm not really intellectual enough to be able to complete most of these but they are enjoyable all the same. I love the Just for fun, misc and entertainment categories which are listed at the top of the page.
In other news, my obsession with owls has a new found love. Rings.
I've bought myself one from Etsy. Cutest thing ever may i add. This is a picture of it:
Back to my normal randomness. Here are a few pictures to make you giggle.
Yes. Yes. Yes he will. He doesn't like it when you get friendly with his ladies! Ultimate ladies man.
Chuck Norris never fails to amaze me. His manliness tops the scales and a path of destruction follows him where ever he may go,
I don't know where this is? I'm hoping it's McDonalds. But i doubt it. Either way I'm pretty sure it's going to scare the children away. Now i can go in the kiddies play area. I don't care if I'm too big. I want to go down the slides!
I want this in the front of every book. It's like instructions. Every book NEEDS instructions. I mean what if you're supposed to read it backwards, or upside-down, or destroy it?!?!?!
Too literal Dan, Too literal. But quite informative. Thank you Dan.
Oh this is genius. I've never understood why they call Poo a "stool" there's nothing stool like about it. Apart from the colour. Now I'm thinking too much. Horrible mental images. Can't un-see what's been seen O.O
A mixture of portal. This facebook guy. and Bear Grylls. This meme pretty much has everything you could ever need. On second thoughts, It would be better with forever alone guy.
I'm purified! No need to ever repent my sins to a priest ever again. not that i ever did. But that's the point. Those little boxes with the screen that blurs his face is kind of creepy. You've got no idea who you could be talking to. Luckily this solves all my problems.
Your scales say it all. You're only weighing yourself to see how fat you are, or if you have somehow miraculously become less fat. I doubt skinny people weigh themselves as much as fat people. Sounds like a good idea for a sociological study.
Yes it has been photoshopped, but it's genius. There's a picture with the photoshopping the other way around. And Kate looks pretty good with blond hair i must say. I can't remember where i saw it though. So good luck finding it. May of been on one of the failblog sites. Have fun searching!
And one last thing. I need a cupcake. A sponge cupcake. No not made out of sponge cake. Actual sponge.
My life is complete! :)
