Babies!

Who doesn't love a cute little baby? I do that's for sure. They're so flexible and talk about the most random stuff. When they're old enough to talk, and start walking they wander around like little drunk people.
This is probably one of the main reasons i want to be a teacher. They just make you laugh so much and all happy inside at how silly they are.

How flexible is that baby!? But then again i bet all babies can do this. They're just awesome like that. yay for being flexible. Boo for losing that super power as we grow up.

Isn't it nice when your fluffy cat is bigger than you are? I want a giant fluffy kitty that i can snuggle with all day. Well that's a lie, i'd rather it were a giant puppy. Cats make me sneeze!

Hahaha I really don't remember actually ever thinking that my nose really was stolen. But adults try so hard to convince you sometimes you just have to play along. I would give her nose back instantly, already paying enough for nappies!

Anyone who's watched Avatar the last airbender will understand this haircut. It's actually genius, now to convince my little brother to do it... Doubt he'd look as adorable though seeing as he's over 6ft tall!

Multicouloured eyes why are you so amazing. I've never seen green and blue before, only blue/green and brown. But this little girl is so cute. I bet she'll have all the boys running after her when she grows up.

Right now away from pictures of babies, and onto things that babies would like.

My brother and i used to draw pictures of what we wanted our rooms to look like when we were older. Mine consisted of a floating bed surrounded by a pink netting with a cosy room underneath it. I know this bed isn't exactly like what i used to want but it's pretty close. A cosy room under your bed! and a slide, i'm jealous of the child who owns this masterpiece.

u-create is a website full of crafty things that you can make and they've even got a page for kids create where there's a bunch of creative activities you can do with your kids. This is an amazing site for me to stumble upon because as a primary school teacher you have to come up with things to do in art lessons. And i'm just a DIY addict anyway. (p.s. their logo involves a picture of an Owl!)

This is my last picture for the day. It's a plant pot with a water well at the bottom. The little squirrel floats so when the pot is full is head pokes up clearly through the hole in the tree. But when the water is running low he ducks down. This is a great pot for use with children, to help them learn to take care of living things. They know exactly how much water to put in and exactly when it needs more water. Simples.

Green Mint Baileys

After yesterdays post i was left thinking about mint icecream. I love mint. And then i thought about Baileys.
It's my favourite drink in the entire world. I want some right now. I don't care what time it is. I would even have it on my cereal.

My favourite flavour of all is the mint chocolate one. Obviously.
My boyfriend's favourite dessert is cheesecake and i like making them. It's quick and easy. One day agess ago i stumbled across this recipe from BBC Food.

It's a Baileys cheesecake. I would have to adapt the recipe to use mint chocolate Baileys though i think and have mint chocolate chips in the cookie base. Mmm. I really want to make one now.

Oh also. After updating yesterday all about green tea i went onto The cupcake blog this morning and to my surprise they had so many tea and coffee cupcakes.

Green Tea and Kiwi.

Chai Latte.

Double Mocha.

Maybe it's just me but i found that really weird. Anyway carrying on with the green theme. I haven't had any baby animals on here recently, which is ridiculous. And i don't know how i've managed it. Did you know there are no green mammals in the world. Apart from a sloth. Yes i know sloths aren't naturally green. But algae grows on them which gives them a green hint seeing as they're so slow.

I'm pretty sure that they do. I want to know the answer to this. And the answer to the first one. If anyone has any idea please let me know!

Now onto random things that i have seen and liked. They are not green, they are not baileys, they are not mint. They are not related to this post at all. Not in the slightest. Oh well :)

Apparently it's meant for sweets and things and that cake won't actually fit in it. I beg to differ. I will make one. And it will be for individual cake slices.

It keeps your hand from freezing when you have a really cold beverage. Thank you Mr. Shark. I guess you could make one with any animal you want really. Well they have to have a pretty big mouth. i wouldn't use a Bee. You can buy your own on Etsy from user handamade.

Oh he is so fancy! Owls are known for being wise, but i didn't know they were this posh.

Last but not least i found a website. It is called wordle. And i really want to make one, but for some reason it won't work for me. Let me know if you have any luck!

Baby it's hot outside, i've got somebody to love

These past few weeks have been nice! It's been sunny, the birds have been singing, the owls hooting and the frogs hopping.... Anyway. The sun has been shimmering down on Britain at just the perfect heat that you can be outside all day long without boiling or getting insanely sunburnt. It's pretty much like the perfect British summer, in spring.
What i love more than anything about nice weather is the icecream trucks coming out, playing their horrible out-of-tune music which everyone loves anyway. And selling ridiculously expensive delights which are sold at half the price in winter. (That actually isn't sarcasm. I do love them) They give me that "it's summer and everything is amazing" feeling.
Keeping with the topic of icecream i thought i'd show you some ridiculously cute looking delights that i would love to have a nom on sat on the grass in the park on a lovely day.

It's pink, it's two flavours, it's shaped like a heart. I'm in love. I want this icecream.
I don't think i'd ever be able to mould icecream into this shape. But there are even more impossible icecream creations such as this one.

Icecream shaped like a rose! Yes a rose. I couldn't help myself. I just love them so so much. Whoever makes these has to be my new best friend. Or waiter? they can serve me yummy looking treats all day long and i will get incredibly fat.
Speaking of fat...

Elephants are quite fat right? This looks like something so simple to make. I can make a noise that kind of sounds like an elephant. Keep your lips tight together and blow out of them.

This guy can do it. But his baby is a bit of a failure. Quite cute though all the same :)

More icecream shaped like animals. I like the turtle. It looks like it's mint flavour! Mint chocolate chip is my favourite.

Now more owls! I've got to have more owls. They are just too adorable to have a post without some.

 I want this backpack. Yes i realize that I'm not a 5 year old so it probably wouldn't fit on my back too well but it looks so kawaii!

And if all my keys looked like this they would never get lost. I'd have my eyes on them at all times.

Ramblings, Squee and Babies

I love looking at blogs, websites and any page that may contain something cute on it. One of these sites which i regularly visit is icanhascheezburger, i love this site. And the fact that from it you can reach Failblog, memebase, and a multitude of other sites. One of my favourites featured on icanhascheezburger is their site Daily squee. It's absolutely filled to the rafters with cute baby animal pictures that make you nearly want to explode. Their web page banner is also absolutely amazing.

I mean just look at the owl in his woolly hat! So so adorable! Plus he is the only one which is animated. He bounces around like a little fluff ball looking incredible SQUEE! So maybe it's not just me who has an irrational obsession with owls. I think the creators of Daily Squee must love them too.

From baby animals to real life babies. Every so often there is a ridiculously funny baby on youtube that makes me crack up with laughter. This next baby is one of those. I mean he is terrified so his mum blowing her nose. And to me it is hilarious!

His mum has got it right "Silly baby".

This next baby is a genius. His dad is ripping up a rejection letter from a job that he applied for. I'm pretty sure that his son cheered him up a lot due to his cute reaction.

Back to squee baby animals how about this sneezing panda baby. You must of seen it before. It's been around for a while now, but it still gives me warm fuzzies inside.

Pictures that you can't help smiling at

Sometimes i just love looking at a good picture. Sometimes i can't help but smile. Sometimes i can't help but want to share it with the world. A world of people who will understand my reasons for smiling. I know Otto will. He always does.
Being nice makes you cool. It's a fact, everyone wants to be friends with the nice person. And sunglasses, if used correctly can definitely help. I love that this picture knows that, but also that it knows that in some situations wearing glasses make you totally uncool. (sunglasses in the cinema anyone?)

this next picture is just genius. Is it a pun? i think it is, i'm not really sure. But i love it. Kawaii fluffy marsupial from down under and tea! This is a Quality sign.

There are no words to describe how amazing this picture is. How it literally makes me laugh out loud every time i see it, and how it puts a giant smile on my face for about a minute. The longer i stare the happier it makes me. Sad, but true.

This next one amazes me. Why do inanimate objects have to look  so soul-less? Go on give them a soul!

It can go on your fridge, your car, on a giant mirror. Pretty much anything metal would look instantly more life-like and manly! Everyone needs to have a man around the house.

Now this little fellow should be a God. I don't know why, and don't question my logic but i think that he looks somewhat like Buddha. I'm really very strange aren't i. Be he just looks so laid-back and relaxed in his cup of tea. Buddha came from Asia where they have tea ceremonies right? And Buddhists do practice meditation to help relax their mind and body. I think he encompasses the exact reason why i think being a Buddha would be awesome.
He is also completely Kawaii. Top tip: Any inanimate object with a sweet face immediately becomes adorable!
